Polo To Open Another Flagship


Ralph Lauren will open another Flagship for the Polo line. This one will be at 888 Madison Avenue, on the corner of 72nd Street, across the street from his store at the Rhinelander mansion. The new 27,500-square-foot will house the entirety of his iconic Polo line. Lauren, who was recently named the richest living designer, currently owns 10 location in Manhattan ranging from his collection store to the new and increasingly popular Rugby store in The Village.

Banana Republic To Open Shop in London


According to sources the retailer will open a store internationally in London. No word yet on where, but it will be the first in Europe for the Gap brand. At the same time the company will launch their new limited edition line Monogram. The store will offer both women's wear and men's, also it will carry their line of handbags and accessories.

Bags Busted in Canals Infamous Counterfeit Triangle


NYPD raided a collection of buildings in Chinatown Tuesday morning. They seized approximately $1 million worth of counterfeit products from labels like Prada, Chloe, Goyard, and Chanel. The bust was one of many recent crackdowns by the NYPD to end the conterfeit sales in our city. The mayors office dubbed group of buildings the "counterfeit triangle". "Today, the message we're sending to counterfeiting operators and their landlords throughout the city is, whoever you are, wherever you are, we are going to shut you down," Bloomberg said.

First Look: Galliano's Bag Line


John Galliano, Creative Director of Cristian Dior, is launching a new bag line under his own label. Previously the designer ownly showed Pret-a-Porter and the more popular menswear line. Pictured above is a bag from the collection in his signature newsprint.

Bluemercury Will Open in the City That Never Sleeps


Bluemercury, the Washington-based beauty store plans to open its first store in Manhattan on Feb. 25.

The new store, will be located at 2305 Broadway at 83rd Street, in the Upper West Side. Their products include Trish McEvoy Makeup and Frederic Fekkai body products. The store will join ranks with existing UWS shops like MAC and Keihls. The company has stores through out the country including Philadelphia (pictured above) and plan to open 30 more this year.

Check out the new Louis Vuitton TV ad. It is interesting to see how the collection in a couple of weeks will incorporate the message seen in it with the clothes.

The Leftover Madness Begins!


The week after fashion week marks an extremely important event for every fab New Yorker, The Barneys Wareouse Sale. It has officially begun! Every season the leftovers from the beautiful department store go on sale from 50-70% off. At the warehouse on 255 W. 17th you can find everything form Marc Jacobs to Trovata to Lanvin and so much more. I have yet to check it out this season but let me tell you last season it was nuts! There are no dressing rooms so wear forgiving undies, and be ready to fight for those Louboutins. It ends March 2nd so hurry over to Chelsea and get some deals!
