The 2008 Drama Desk Awards nominations were announced on April 28 by Bebe Neuwirth and Len Cariou at the Friars Club in New York. The broadway musical A Catered Affair, which stars Harvey Firestein (Hairspray) and Matt Cavenaugh (Grey Gardens), took home 12 nominations and the Off-Broadway Adding machine drew 9 nominations.
